Added

WebSockets (Bun): export websocket from a +server.ts; hooks and locals run before it.
WebSocket upgrades from another site are blocked (403), like form posts.
Open WebSockets close with code 1001 on shutdown and 1012 on a dev rebuild, so clients reconnect.
bun run dev passes WebSockets through to your app.
New settings: WS_MAX_PAYLOAD, WS_IDLE_TIMEOUT, WS_BACKPRESSURE_LIMIT, WS_COMPRESS.
./$types now exists for +server.ts-only folders too (Params, WebSocketHandler).

A plain GET with a stray Upgrade header now reaches your GET handler.
A hook error after a WebSocket opens now closes that socket (1011) instead of keeping it open.
Behind a proxy, event.url no longer shows the app's inner port (like app.com:3000).
A malformed X-Forwarded-Host or odd X-Forwarded-Proto is now ignored, not half-applied.

[1.2.6] - 2026-10-16

Added

CACHE_MAX_BYTES caps the response cache's memory (default 100MB); the oldest entries go first.
bosia/plugins/access-log: an opt-in access log, one line per request, written in batches.
CACHE_IGNORE_PARAMS: links with ?utm_source=…, ?fbclid=…, ?gclid=… and other click params get the cached page instead of a new render per click. Pages whose load() or metadata() reads such a param still render with it.
CACHE_WAIT_TIMEOUT (default 60s, or longer than METADATA_TIMEOUT + LOAD_TIMEOUT): how long a request waits for another one building the same cached response.

Changed

LOAD_TIMEOUT and METADATA_TIMEOUT now default to 30000 and 10000 ms; unset meant no timeout (the docs said 5000/3000). A loader that runs longer than 30s (a page's time includes await parent()) now fails with a 500. Set LOAD_TIMEOUT=0 to keep the old behavior.
Env durations (LOAD_TIMEOUT, METADATA_TIMEOUT, CACHE_WAIT_TIMEOUT) must be whole milliseconds; 10s used to mean 10ms, now it warns and uses the default. infinity works in any case.
New apps no longer log every request from hooks.server.ts. Use your proxy's log or add accessLog() to bosia.config.ts. That template hook also set the X-Response-Time header and, in shop/store, locals.requestTime / layout data.requestTime; those are gone too.

Fixed

Downloading a big file from a +server.ts GET no longer copies the whole file into memory.
A +server.ts GET that streams forever no longer makes the next request to it wait forever.
A page whose loader sets cache-control: private (or no-store/no-cache) is no longer cached.
With CORS on, responses keep Vary: Accept-Encoding, so a CDN won't send brotli to a browser that can't read it.
Tapping a link while its data is still prefetching no longer loads that data twice.
A response with Vary: Cookie (or any Vary besides Accept-Encoding) is no longer cached.
A +server.ts GET that returns an already-gzipped body is no longer served broken from cache.
One loader or +server.ts GET that never finished no longer made its URL hang for everyone until a restart.
A page whose metadata() failed or timed out is no longer cached without its title and meta tags.
New projects pass bun run check in a monorepo or with isolated installs (bun-types not found).
Prerender fails when a page's URL matches another route ignoring case (New vs blog/new).
A prerender case error names the URL at risk, like /BLOG/NEW, and the route that serves it.

[1.2.5] - 2026-10-15

Changed

Prerender fails the build when a page answers an error, a redirect or a non-HTML file.
A prerendered page or API may answer any 2xx, but not 204 or 205 (an empty file).
Prerender fails when another route serves a slug's URL, like /blog/[slug] giving new.
PRERENDER_TIMEOUT is the only time limit while prerendering; the server's own are off.
PRERENDER_CONCURRENCY counts requests: a page and its data are two, each running load().

Fixed

Prerendered pages now 308 to the right trailing slash, like /about/ to /about.
A prerender timeout or network error fails the build instead of only logging.
The build fails when the prerender server can't start, instead of shipping with pages missing.
A server that's slow to start says "not ready within 10s" instead of "exit code none".
A stuck hook no longer hangs the build; it fails after 10s waiting for the prerender server.
A prerendered page is saved only with its data file, so client navigation works on static hosts.
A page whose data request redirects (like to /login) fails prerender instead of saving it.
A data request that times out says data timed out, so you know which request was slow.
Prerender errors name their cause, like ECONNRESET, in one line per page.
A prerender server that crashes mid-build is reported once, with its exit code.
A missing 404.html is listed with the other prerender errors, so one build shows them all.
The 404 page check names a redirect (like to /login) and never fetches another site.
MAX_INFLIGHT in .env no longer makes prerender fail with random answered 503 errors.
IDLE_TIMEOUT, LOAD_TIMEOUT and METADATA_TIMEOUT in .env no longer cut prerendering.
A failed prerender ends about 10s sooner: the build server is stopped instead of drained.

[1.2.4] - 2026-10-14

Param names follow TypeScript variable rules: [user_id], [_id] ok; [post-id] fails.
Prerender entries() values allow only letters, digits, - _ . ~ (and / in catch-alls).
entries() values like v1..v2 are allowed; a part ending in . (v1., ..) fails.
The build fails when two prerendered pages differ only by case, like About and about.
entries() values can't be Windows device names like con, or end the URL in .html/.json.
entries() values can't start with . (like .env); static hosts hide those files.
Upgrading: rename params like [post-id] or [file.name] to [post_id] or [fileName].
Upgrading: prerender slugs like 50%-off or café must become 50-off or cafe.
The build lists every broken entries() route at once, one ❌ line each.

Fixed

An entries() value of index fails; it used to replace the parent page, like /blog.
A value repeated in entries() (a tag on two posts) is written once instead of failing.
Prerender fails when two pages would write one file, like a static /about and a slug about.
A slug 404 can't replace the 404 page; a static src/routes/404 page still can.
A prerender clash names the route that made the page, like /about (from /[slug]).
entries() values like _health or dist/… fail; they saved the framework's reply as the page.
Page entries() values like logo.png fail; the server treats them as files, not pages.
entries() URLs can't start with dist or __bosia in any case; DIST/ broke the JS bundle.

Saving a form or refreshing data on the same page no longer jumps back to the top.
An error page shown after saving scrolls to the top, so you can see the error.

Static files and prebuilt pages are served from memory after the first visit, about 3× faster.

Pages that aren't cached are compressed faster, so the server handles more visits.
Uncached pages render about 35% faster: each route's code is loaded once, not on every visit.
